Cherche shrinking story Endings
Ending A “Let’s ask Miriel,” Cherche suggested. She and the mage had bonded, over the latter’s curiosity about Minerva. The mage and scholar was always investigating the mysteries of the world, so seemed to be a safe bet for figuring out how to restore Cherche’s size. Virion agreed. “Ah yes, that brainbox. An excellent choice,” he said. “So long as she finds my decrease in size interesting, she will investigate it,” Cherche reasoned, “but that might be a big ‘if’…” “Indeed. Let us hope she is feeling up to it, yes?” Virion mused, “I shall take you to her now.” “Oh? You know where she is?” “Yes, of course,” Virion told her as he walked, “I know exactly where all of the ladies—ahem, I mean, it is easy to figure out, is it not?” “You never change,” Cherche sighed. It was within Miriel’s tent that Virion found the mage. He approached her, hand outstretched, displaying the tiny Cherche. From where the belittled, pink-haired woman sat, Miriel’s hat seemed to stretch upward forever.
